Maple Plywood

Proofgrade® Maple Plywood is an ideal choice for scale model designs, wall hangings, and desktop accessories. The micro-thin maple layer is sourced from hard rock maple trees, known for their strength and consistent, creamy golden color.

With distinctive patterns and grains, Proofgrade® Plywoods are custom fabricated with a hardwood core for Light & Thick Plywoods or an engineered wood core for Medium Plywoods. Each core is surrounded by a layer of natural hardwood and finished with a furniture-grade semi-gloss finish. We match our Hardwoods, Plywoods, and Veneers, so you can combine all three for a consistent and professional look.

Proofgrade® Light Plywood takes your projects from start to finish quickly. Compared to Medium Plywood, it’s thinner, weighs less, and cuts twice as fast. The core is natural hardwood, rather than engineered material, so it’s stronger in one direction than the other. This makes it ideal for structural designs, but less suitable for delicate cuts like living hinges.
